Teaching

Dr. Rodgers has recently retired from full-time teaching, but is continuing as a part-time faculty member. She teaches voice and graduate courses at the College of Musical Arts at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and with her voice science colleague, Dr. Ronald Scherer has spearheaded their recently added Master's degree specialization in Voice Science and Pedagogy

The College of Musical Arts is also home to the Mid-American Center for Contemporary Music, and is one of only two institutions in North America that offers
a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Contemporary Music Performance.  The opera department, headed by Toledo Opera's Kevin Bylsma, offers two fully staged operas with orchestra annually, as well as scenes programs, student-composed and -produced MicroOperas, workshops, master classes, and other events.

Dr. Rodgers is available for private consultations and group workshops by appointment, when schedule allows.
